The 2,500 mAh battery ensures long operating times and enables up to 50,000 scans on a single charge – equivalent to more than 13 hours of continuous scanning.

Especially in self-service areas, Virtual Tether ensures that customers do not accidentally leave the store with the DS4678. Both the scanner and the tether give a warning if the scanner is out of range or is left untethered for a period of time.
